Industrial Single-Board Computers (SBCs) & Embedded Motherboards: Low-profile analog video (VGA) and multi-channel sensor I/O interfaces in 1U rackmount servers and thin industrial PCs.
Commercial Display & KVM Switch Systems: High-density video signal routing in slim matrix switchers, industrial monitors, and digital signage controllers.
Automated Test Equipment (ATE) & CNC Controllers: Multi-pin control signal and RS-232/RS-485 serial array breakout ports requiring #4-40 screw-lock vibration resistance.
Medical Diagnostic & Portable Instrumentation: Compact display and telemetry output ports operating across wide thermal environments (-55°C to +85°C).
This 15-pin High-Density (HD15) Slim D-Sub female receptacle features a space-saving right-angle mid-mount (sinking mount) configuration with a 1.0mm center height (CH=1.0mm). Engineered for ultra-thin industrial motherboards, embedded single-board computers (SBCs), and compact graphic display interfaces, it significantly reduces the overall above-board profile while maintaining full mechanical compatibility with standard 3-row 15-pin D-Sub (VGA) cable plugs. Supplied with a pre-assembled pick-and-place cap, it is fully optimized for high-speed automated PCB assembly lines.
Designed for precision PCB cutout integration, this 15-position slim D-Sub receptacle utilizes a 3-row staggered pin layout with a 1.145mm / 2.29mm horizontal pitch and a 20.10±0.02mm mounting hole distance. The PCB footprint requires 15 signal through-holes (0.70±0.06mm diameter) alongside dual board-lock mounting slots for robust mechanical anchoring during plug insertion and extraction. The steel shielding shell (nickel or tin finished) grounds directly to the chassis trace to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) in high-frequency analog and control signal transmission.
