Application Notes
Directional Installation: Due to the integrated optoelectronic conversion chips, AOC cables are strictly directional. Always ensure the plug labeled “Source” is connected to the PC/GPU, and “Display” is connected to the monitor.
Bend Radius Restrictions: To prevent micro-bending signal loss or fracturing the internal optical glass fibers, maintain a minimum bend radius of at least 20mm (or as specified) during installation and routing.
Power Delivery Configuration: The active chips operate by drawing a minimal 3.3V power directly from Pin 20 of the DisplayPort source receptacle. No external USB power adapters are required.
Mechanical Pulling Tension: Do not apply excessive pulling force directly on the connector heads when routing through conduits. Always use a proper cable pulling grip that distributes tension evenly across the outer jacket.
