Overview
Designed for reliable internal motherboard connectivity, the EU20MB4M1200 is an industry-standard USB 3.0 20-pin (19-pin active with 1 keying pin) internal header plug. Featuring a 90-degree right-angle through-hole (THT/DIP) design and a 2.00mm pitch, it enables low-profile horizontal cable routing for space-constrained IPC motherboards and industrial chassis. The connector is constructed with a UL 94V-0 rated PA66 housing and gold-plated copper alloy pins over nickel with tin-plated solder tails, rated for 3,000 mating cycles and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. Keying & Orientation: Designed with Pin 20 blocked (keying position) to ensure foolproof mating with standard USB 3.0 front-panel IDC female cable assemblies and prevent reverse insertion.
PCB Layout & Pitch: Maintain a standard 2.00mm pitch grid with 0.80mm diameter through-hole drillings for the 19 active pins. Recommended PCB thickness is 1.20mm to 1.60mm.
Clearance & Low Profile: The 90-degree horizontal configuration directs the mated cable parallel to the PCB, minimizing vertical enclosure height in 1U/2U servers and embedded enclosures.
