Miniature Industrial Sensors: Provides secure, IP67-rated connectivity for tiny proximity, inductive, and photoelectric sensors where standard M8 or M12 connectors are simply too large.
Robotics & Micro-Automation: Delivers highly flexible and lightweight signal transmission for robotic arms, end-of-arm tooling, and micro-actuators requiring reliable continuous operation in tight spaces.
Machine Vision & Optics: Ensures stable power delivery and signal triggering for compact inspection cameras and laser scanners on high-speed factory production lines.
Medical & Diagnostic Equipment: Offers discrete, safe, and easily routable connections for portable diagnostic devices and laboratory automation instruments requiring space-saving, moisture-resistant designs.
Commercial Drones (UAVs): Acts as an ultra-compact, lightweight interconnect solution for transferring critical sensor data within the confined payloads of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Overview: Engineered for ultra-compact and space-constrained industrial applications, our M5 4-Pin Female Sensor Cable Assembly delivers reliable power and signal transmission for miniature sensors, actuators, and automation equipment. Featuring a highly precise M5x0.5 threaded locking mechanism, this assembly guarantees a secure, vibration-resistant connection with an IP67 waterproof rating when mated. Built with premium tinned copper conductors (typically 26 AWG), gold-plated contacts, and durable overmolding, it ensures excellent signal integrity in harsh environments. As a factory-direct OEM/ODM manufacturer, we offer full customization of cable lengths, jacket materials (PVC or TPU), and wire configurations, all manufactured to UL/CE compliance standards to seamlessly integrate into your global equipment designs.
Application Notes:
Space Optimization: Designed for micro-routing; ensure adequate finger clearance is maintained in your machinery layout to safely operate the miniature M5x0.5 threaded locking nut.
Torque Specifications: Do not over-tighten the miniature M5 screw ring. Apply the manufacturer-recommended torque to maintain the IP67 NBR seal without damaging the delicate metal threads.
EMI/RFI Shielding: For sensitive analog sensor signals, request our shielded cable option and ensure the 360-degree shield is properly grounded at the control cabinet to prevent high-frequency noise interference.
Dynamic Routing: Adhere to a minimum bend radius of 5x the cable’s outer diameter (OD) for static installations, or specify a TPU jacket if the application involves continuous dynamic flexing.
